Please note that this is only applicable to users in NextRep’s testing programme which is by invite only.
We’re so excited to have you on board to help us test our app! This is your chance to try out cutting-edge features before they’re released to the public. Your feedback is incredibly valuable as we work to make this the best experience possible. Please remember that this is a test version of the app, so you should expect to encounter some issues. If you’d prefer to simply enjoy the app without potential hiccups, consider downloading it from the App Store.
You can expect regular updates about every couple of weeks as we implement your feedback and refine the app.
You should either have a TestFlight invite link or you may have been emailed with instructions to join the TestFlight programme.
Important Notes
-
Providing Feedback is Key - To ensure we can make the most of your testing, we encourage you to provide feedback regularly. TestFlight has a fantastic feature that allows you to take a screenshot anywhere in the app and instantly add your comments. This is super helpful for us to see exactly what you’re seeing!
Please note that testing spots are limited. To make sure we’re getting the most out of our beta program, we may remove testers who aren’t actively providing feedback. We want to make sure everyone involved is as enthusiastic as we are about improving the app!
-
Understanding Beta Versions - These are beta versions of the app, and while they undergo testing, occasionally problems can oocur, including the app becoming unusable. If this happens, we recommend swapping to a previous version of the app within TestFlight (simply tap on the “Previous Builds” item on the app’s TestFlight page) and sending us feedback. It’s likely that we’ll already be aware of the issue and actively working on a fix.
-
Crash and Error Reporting - To help us iron our any kinks and ensure a smooth experience for the production release, crash and error reporting is enabled by default and cannot be disabled within the TestFlight version of the app. As this is a beta version, it’s more prone to issues, and this data is crucial for us to identify and fix problems quickly.
Privacy is really important for us. Any data sent is not linked to your identity, we can only see details such as the version of the app, what device you are using and so on. You can find more details about our data collection practices in our privacy policy. If you’re uncomfortable with crash reporting, you can always wait for the official App Store release, where the feature is always optional.
We encourage you to also report any feedback using TestFlight for any problems that occur, which can give us a little more detail.
-
Enjoy the app for free! - As a thank you for your help, the app is completely free for you to use while you’re a tester through TestFlight! We hope you enjoy getting an early look at what we’re working on.
